APPLICATIONS
The VAZEL Line “15” mechanical seal is recommended for rotary equipments such as pumps, reactores, agitators, and for those equipments that handle viscous fluids or abrasives used i nthe chemical industry, maritime industry, water treatment; depending on the combination of materials.
MATERIALS
Rotary Face: Graphite Carbide, Silicon Carbide, Tungsten Carbide
Bellow: NBR (Nitrile®), FKM (Viton®), CR (Neoprene®), E.P.R (EPDM), Kalrez (FFKM), Aflas (TFE/P), Creavey (PTFE/FKM) and Silicon (VMQ).
Metallic Parts: Stainless Steel 316.
Seat: Ceramic, Sintered Silicon Carbide, Stainless Steel.
OPERATION LIMITS
Velocity: Max 3,600 R.P.M. (Depends on the diameter of the shaft).
Pressure: 150 PSI (10.6Kg/cm2) (It depends on the combination of the material of the faces).
Temperature limits: -57 °C a 316 °C (Depends on the material of the elastomer).
