APPLICATIONS
The VAZEL Line “51” mechanical seal is used in industrial equipments such as pumps, reactors, agitators, etc.; and for those equipments that handle corrosive fluids used in the chemical industry, petrochemical industry, paper industry and water treatment.
MATERIALS
Rotary Face: Graphite Carbide, PTFE/Fiberglass
Bellow: Teflon (PTFE)
Metallic Parts: Stainless Steel 316.
Seat: Ceramic, Silicon Carbide, Tungsten Carbide, Stainless Steel, Ni-Resist.
Seat Bellow: Teflon (PTFE).
OPERATION LIMITS
Velocity: Max 3,600 R.P.M. (Depends on the diameter of the shaft).
Pressure: 350 PSI (24.6Kg/cm2) (It depends on the combination of the material of the faces).
Temperature limits: -59 °C a 260 °C (Depends on the material of the elastomer).
