APPLICATIONS
The VAZEL Line «55» mechanical seal is used in industrial equipments such as pumps, reactors, agitators, etc.; and for those equipments that handle fluids used in the chemical industry, petrochemical industry, paper industry and water treatment.
MATERIALS
Rotary Face: Graphite Carbide, PTFE
Bellow: NBR (Nitrile®), FKM (Viton®), CR (Neoprene®), E.P.R (EPDM), Kalrez (FFKM), Aflas (TFE/P), Creavey (PTFE/FKM) and Silicon (VMQ).
Metallic Parts: Stainless Steel 316.
Seat: Ceramic, Silicon Carbide, Tungsten Carbide, Stainless Steel, Asbestos-free Teflon.
OPERATION LIMITS
Velocity: Max 3,600 R.P.M. (Depends on the diameter of the shaft).
Pressure: 450 PSI (32Kg/cm2) (It depends on the combination of the material of the faces).
Temperature limits: -59 °C a 316 °C (Depends on the material of the elastomer).
